  1. Netravali Bubbling Lake

This mesmerising lake is located in front of the most famous temple, Sri Gopinath Temple. You can witness the lush green foliage and a step well, where granite steps will take you to the lake. The crystal clear water and the lake’s formation make it a must-visit.

How to reach

It is a drive of 33 – 35 Km from Karwar railway station and Madgaon station.

  1. Arambol Sweet Water Lake

It is located near Arambol beach, also known as Paliem Sweet Water. It is a perfect spot for you if you are looking for an isolated place or to take a break from the crowded city! Do not forget to take a dip in the lukewarm water to unwind the stress from the hustle and bustle of your life.

How to reach

It is 200 metres walk from Arambol beach, and the nearest railway station is Karwar which is approx 25Km.

  1. Carambolim Lake

    It is one of the largest lakes in Goa, also known as Karmali lake. The magnificent beauty and its tranquillity will make it to the top of your bucket list. It is also a paradise for all the birdwatchers, where you can explore some unseen species.

    How to reach
    It is 12 Km from Panjim, from where you can take a can, and the nearest station is Thivim Train station which is approx 17 Km from here.

It is located next to the most touristy place in Goa, St. Alex Church. However, you will be amazed by the picturesque view that this lake has to offer. This place is also famous among photographers who capture the beauty of nature; the best time is during the sunrise when the golden rays fall on the lake’s clear water.

It is 6 Km away from the Arey Railway station and 9 Km from Madgaon, from where you can easily get a cab.

5. Mayhem Lake

This is one of the most popular lakes among tourists. It is truly a gem of Goa which is a perfect spot for a picnic. You can also look up to various birds like Herons, Comb Duck and many more. It is 9 Km away from the Thivim Train Station, from where you can easily get a cab.

6. Sarzora Lake

The nearest station is Madgaon railway station, from where you can easily get a cab.

7. Batim Lake

It is also known as Bonda Lake, Bondavonnchem Lake and Bondvol Lake. Fundamentally this lake is used as a reservoir, which supplies water to the nearby area for drinking or irrigation. This lake will give a feel of mini wildlife with a picturesque view, where flora and fauna exist.

It is 17 Km away from the Dabolim Airport and 25 Km from Madgaon Railway station and 19 Km from Thivim Train station.

8. Ambulor Lake

The nearest railway station is the Verna railway station.

9. Bondava Lake

10. Raitollem Lake

11. Mala Lake
