What you should keep in mind before starting your trekking to the Buddha statue?

There are several important things that you should know before planning a trip to the Buddha statue in south Goa.

  • You should complete your trekking between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm because the place is open for this duration only. You can also plan your trekking on Sundays as it remains open on Sundays.
  • Taking two-wheelers on the trek is allowed and you can park them safely at the decided parking place. There are two places where you can park your motorbike or another two-wheeler vehicle.
  • You must avoid the time between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm for trekking because during this period the temperature and humidity are at their peak.
  • Do not forget to keep the essentials with you like enough water bottles and caps. It saves you from getting puzzled by thirst and temperature.
  • If you are planning to see the sunset from the top, you have to be there till 6 pm. But you must have the permission of the authoritative people of this place.
  • The best time to visit this place is from October to March as during this period you can find pleasant weather that makes your trekking ideal.
  • You must be aware of the bumpy paths while climbing the slopy rocks.
